I Bought a Ninja for Smoothies and Used it for the First Time Tonight

I bought a ninja fit a few weekends ago with the hope of being able to leave it on my counter since it's a lot smaller than normal sized blenders. I planned on buying a bullet until I saw there were two different brands having similar features. I chose the ninja based on drann's recommendation. I got it a couple of weeks ago when we had a10% sale and got an additional ten percent discount for working there
This forest cup contains two slices of an orange pepper, about a third of the pepper. I planned on using a cucumber but it went bad too fast. I also used some yogurt, milk, protein powder, chia seeds and frozen, mixed fruit.
I like it. My daughter could smell the pepper and didn't want to try it. I made my husband have a sip. He didn't like the seeds at all even though they were barely there and didn't like the taste of the peppers either.
I may do another one for the morning here in a little bit.

That's great for how long and how much do you use it?

When my dishwasher went nuts and MELTED my original Ninja blender, my husband decided to buy the one that has the full blender jar along with 2 blender things for smoothies. He tried to make drinks in them a few times but the capacity is very small and didn't work with the pre-packed frozen fruit amounts that we bought at the grocery store. I don't care because I don't do smoothies but he is pissed.

Then you may need to buy the larger sizes and pack your own in the right portions or use a part of one and make a second right away since you have more than one container. I

@MarshaMusselman it is my husband's problem. If he wants smoothies then he will have to figure out how to make them in his single-serve things. I want no part of it. Otherwise, he can just use the regular blender jar.

@NJChicaa I don't see why he cannot use the larger blender just that came with it. I'm sure it would still make great smoothies and he can use the prefilled packets as before.

I'm hoping to use mine a lot depending on how quick I can get it put together. Maybe I will opt to cut my produce beforehand and freeze it and then can take out what I want to add to the mixture although I'm not sure if I can use a lot of frozen items or whether I will need to thaw a portion ahead of time.
I should start that tonight, cut all my peppers so they don't go bad if it takes me a bit to make more.
Previously, I used my blender to do spinach and yogurt and froze that in small containers which worked well.

I intended to use frozen or fresh fruit too. I don't like the V8 juice with fruits and vegetables but I think I will like my own especially since I'm adding extra ingredients

I like it although I need to figure out when the ingredients are getting too high as I keep losing some of it while blending which can be messy.
