Sometimes I Wish They Would Just Blow Themselves Up

I don't know how many times I see it, but it irks me every single time I do. That is, people who leave their vehicles running while they pump their gas. Are these idiots? I mean, they HAVE to be idiots. There have been more than ample stories about people pumping gas with a car running that causes a spark, and explosions occur.
I try to stay out of their way.
But once I would like for them to explode so that the concept hits home that this is a very bad idea.
I wish no death on anyone. But if you are stupid, and death happens, is it anyone's fault?
If you pump gas into your car just shut your effing car off!

It never ceases to amaze me what people do at the pumps. Including getting back into the car while pumping. There have been several cases of people building up a static charge which can cause a fire as well. People just need a little bit of good old fashioned common sense, really.

I don't see that many people who leave their cars running but I see so many people smoking while pumping gas.

Yep. That is when I see it most often too. Not only do they leave their car running to try to beat the cold while sitting in their cars, getting back into the car while pumping is also dangerous as it can cause a static charge.
I want nowhere near these idiots.

I think the gas station should be strict too. They must have their guidelines. And costumer left with no choice.
