Let me rephrase that. Pat of my family and part of the hubbies family will be here for Thanksgiving. I just heard today that my some of them will be here. My youngest daughter called this afternoon and told mw she and her hubby can both get off of 5 days and will be here with the two boys. Then she told me that my middle daughter wants to come two with he4r two youngest kids. Yeah. My husband's sister, and brother, and sister-in-law will be here too. I can't wait. Usually it's my hubby and myself or sometimes his sister joins us. This year we will have a full house. I know it seems early to be planning Thanksgiving but with every ones schedules for work and life the way they are it is hard to get any of them together. My day has been a very busy, very good day. How has yours been?

Are you already planning for Thanksgiving? You are surely tired of the heat.

Actually, it was my youngest daughter who started the ball rolling. She called and said she and the hubby could both get off from work for a week at Thanksgiving and wanted to come down here. The rest of the planning kind of of took on a life of it's own. I am sick, sore, tired, and disgusted with all of this heat.

Do you know about OrganicPrairie dot com @HazySue ? You can order from them and get them shipped to you on time. Of course in your area you probably have many more options than I do, if you eat organic food that is.

Sounds like it's going to be a wonderful Thanksgiving at your house this year. Never too early to plan ahead. In fact my daughter asked me the other day what we were having for Christmas dinner

It's good you know this early so you can plan. My day was good. I finished Thread of Evidence yesterday - the major revision edit. Now, I'm going to read through it, catch any editing I need to do, then on to publishing.

@HazySue It's the best feeling. A lot of hard work goes into every book. We just don't think about that when we're reading a good story.

I'm glad you'll have a house full for Thanksgiving! Never too early to plan things, especially for the holidays, imo. My mom and I will probably be the only ones here this thanksgiving, as my brother always ends up working. So we're just going to do our usual thanksgiving meal, put up the tree, go bowling, and then we planned last night going and seeing the new 'wreck it ralph 2' movie at night.

It does seem early to be planning for Thanksgiving. I would think with so much time until then plans may still change. Hope you don't get too disappointed and everyone shows up.

The girls have to make sure they are able to get the time off before they make any plans. The schedule it so far in advance so they can be assured they will be off. I, like you, have in the back of my mind the worry that something may happen to change things. I hope not.

It is overcast here, it should rain later. The temp is in the low 90's and the humidity is way up there. Enjoy your weather.

It is is not easy to plan such a big affair. You better get miving with your planning. It is exciting to have most family there. It is not always like that so I am pretty sure it will be fun and memorable.

When is the Thanksgiving Day? Is it in November yet? But it looks like you really have to plan everything ahead so all your family members will be present on that very important event.

Thanksgiving is the 3rd Thursday in November. My girls have to plan ahead because of their jobs. It's hard to be able to get everyone together with their differing schedules.
