Let me rephrase that. Pat of my family and part of the hubbies family will be here for Thanksgiving. I just heard today that my some of them will be here.
My youngest daughter called this afternoon and told mw she and her hubby can both get off of 5 days and will be here with the two boys. Then she told me that my middle daughter wants to come two with he4r two youngest kids. Yeah.
My husband's sister, and brother, and sister-in-law will be here too. I can't wait. Usually it's my hubby and myself or sometimes his sister joins us. This year we will have a full house.
I know it seems early to be planning Thanksgiving but with every ones schedules for work and life the way they are it is hard to get any of them together.
My day has been a very busy, very good day. How has yours been?

Actually, it was my youngest daughter who started the ball rolling. She called and said she and the hubby could both get off from work for a week at Thanksgiving and wanted to come down here. The rest of the planning kind of of took on a life of it's own.
I am sick, sore, tired, and disgusted with all of this heat.

Sounds like it's going to be a wonderful Thanksgiving at your house this year. Never too early to plan ahead. In fact my daughter asked me the other day what we were having for Christmas dinner

I'm glad you'll have a house full for Thanksgiving!
Never too early to plan things, especially for the holidays, imo.
My mom and I will probably be the only ones here this thanksgiving, as my brother always ends up working. So we're just going to do our usual thanksgiving meal, put up the tree, go bowling, and then we planned last night going and seeing the new 'wreck it ralph 2' movie at night.

@HazySue I bet! now to figure out if you're going to add or remove any meals/food to your dinner and desserts.

The girls have to make sure they are able to get the time off before they make any plans. The schedule it so far in advance so they can be assured they will be off. I, like you, have in the back of my mind the worry that something may happen to change things. I hope not.

My day has been going fine. Here the temperature is mild and we have a sunny day, which is perfect for any single summer day

When is the Thanksgiving Day? Is it in November yet? But it looks like you really have to plan everything ahead so all your family members will be present on that very important event.

You have a head's warning to prepare for a big Thanksgiving.

Aw, it will be so nice to have a full house! =) Most of my siblings and parents will be going to Oklahoma to my brother's house this year. We won't be able to go though of course.
