Habits change according to the temperature. No coffee now.

Today I ran to the dining room to turn on a heater and came back to give Luna her breakfast and then into bed again.
No coffee for me, although I would have loved to have one. But to wait in a cold kitchen was not something I wanted to do.
So here I am, warm in my bed but no coffee
In summer (maybe even from spring) I get up a lot earlier, put on my flip flops and go to say hello to my plants. Maybe this year that will change. My plants have been hidden from Luna. Still, I will surely play with her earlier in the morning or talk to her with a mug of coffee at my side.
Do you change your habits in the warm months? In summer I don´t cook soups or casseroles. And the amount of fresh salads in my dish grows.

Same here. Breakfast here is about the same all year around because it is very simple. But I eat more legumes, stews and soups in winter. Even past is made different depending on the season. I like spaghetti with pesto in summer.

@marguicha I also like spaghetti with pesto, I have planted a lot of basil in the garden. I also make a basil sorbet that is very refreshing for after dinner.

But drinking a hot cup of coffee would warm you up.

I usually do that. But today, the kitchen was so cold that I did not want to wait for the coffee.

For me too. But then, the kitchen was too cold so I waited until it was warmer as I did turn on the heater.

@youless A bit below water freezing at dawn. Not much, except if you don´t have central heating.

I don't blame you for rushing back to bed on a cold morning. We're in the middle of summer, so quite hot here, though today will be a nice day in the 70's, and even the humidity is less, which is good. Yes, my eating does change depending on the time of year. I'm eating more salads now, and not drinking anything hot - tea - as I do in winter. I hope you have a good day.

I get up much earlier in the summer months. Can't wait to enjoy the nice weather! Nothing like flip flops, shorts, a t-shirt and a cup of morning coffee

The sun is up earlier in summer. And I could not live without flip flops then.

I could not wear anything in my feet but flip flops at home during the summer season.

I would be making coffee no matter what the temperature. I drink coffee in the summer and winter.
I NEED my coffee every morning and if it was that cold I would bundle myself up and wait for the coffee to perk.

I waited until Leticia arrived. The only thing I had to do against my will (as cold goes) was to feed Luna.

I gotta have my coffee no matter what the temperature. I dont cook often in the summer months. Salads and comfort foods like frozen pizza or microwaveable entrees is what I live on in summer.
