An Adorable Bench in Laguna Beach

One of the things I love about Laguna Beach is that virtually everything has been turned into a work of art, including the numerous benches around the city.
The bench pictured above sits in front of the public library.
Most of the benches in the town are very artistic. Some of them look like surfboards, others look like chambered nautilus seashells. There is even an odd little bench which looks like a row of attached mushrooms!
I think the bench in this photo is very sweet looking. I'm always discovering new benches or works of art around town. There is barely a blank wall which does not have a mural painted on it.
I love sharing Laguna Beach's art with the world.

@Hannihar - I didn't sit on it! LOL I only took a picture of it. It is wood, so it is probably OK to sit on for a short time. I would love it by my house!

That is a very good looking bench. We have murals on sides of buildings but nothing as interesting as that bench,

@BelleStarr - Yes, that is true. We used to live in Dallas, and they have bronze statues around downtown in unexpectedly places ... like a man sitting on a bench at a bus stop. When you first see them, you think the people are real for a second, until you realize they are statues. I always enjoy street art.

@much2say - I think both the Pageant of the Masters and the Sawdust Festival will be going on until the end of August. We are going to be gone until then.

@much2say - We have had several trips this summer, so we didn't get Pageant tickets. We go most years. It never ceases to amaze me. One of our daughters went to the Sawdust Festival last week. She said the jewelry was amazing!

@LadyDuck - Well, some of the sidewalks could be repaired and a few minor things like that, but it is a cute, sweet town. I love living on the edge of it.

That is really cute.I like they are holding the dog.In San Jose there is public art on benches as well,and also on utility boxes
