So trying to chill out from pain and problems a while and went to my pogo game club to do one of the Wednesday challenges and get it out of the way. I do like seek and find games most of the time but sometimes Pogo games gets on my nerves with that. Whoever draws those pages can't really draw that great It will list something like a chipmunk but what you finally see it is looks more like a rolled up rag! Just saying sometimes it doesn't calm me after all and I have to quit. cause since my eye surgery a few years ago, some thing still don't show up well. ever seen a seek and find where they just can't draw? To top it off my daughters bf here is supposed to bring me things when I ask and he does but he seems not to hear as well as I do and he is only in his early 30's He will come right to the door and say " what "? several times before I can get it across what I want. Do some drugs affect hearing or is it just because he is playing music in his ears on high a lot? it's a mystery to me

I like games on pogo too I just renewed my club pogo the other day now that I'm back to work and can afford it. I hate those games too and don't play them as they can be hard for me. I'm more into the board and puzzle games. Men just like to ignore us women and think they here and play dumb like they don't. You should just have your daughter make a list and give it to him when you need something.

that's an idea. i have been on pogo in the club for about 16 yr. i even got one for my daughter, but then she quit and now i find i can't give either one up so i ended up paying 80 bucks a year. but that's the only games online i truly enjoy. i may already have you as a friend on there. i am, wildthing29fl and fancyfrog6. so what about you?

I saw on a medical news show once that OTC pain medications taken for any period of time can mess up your hearing. I feel I suffer from this problem for that very reason.

@bunnybon7 Yes, when I was having such back problems I took them several times a day every day. Now my hearing is bad.

i wish people wearing earphones take it off when you talk to them, instead of expecting you to raise your voice and repeat yourself. it's so one-sided.

he isn't wearing them when i talk with him but i have actually heard the music a bit while he is wearing them. so i know he turns it loud. and before he started having them, i would have to ask him to turn his music down so i could hear my tv, behind my door while he was 2 rooms away

@hereandthere it is all 3 of us renting it, supposedly. anyway, i text them if they are not within ear shot etc. but he is ruining what little hearing he has left. won't pay attention when i told him that

@bunnybon7 i wouldn't play loud music when i'm in someone's house, even if it's on earphones, so i can hear in case someone's calling me

If he play music using earplugs all the time, this is the cause of his poor hearing.

my brother is 25 and it takes forever for him to hear what we say, because of his loud music.

Guys are like that. They have a one-track mind and if you try to switch their thoughts it does not always work.
