Have You Seen "A Wrinkle in Time?"

Recently, my husband and I watched the movie "A Wrinkle in Time." It stars Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey as two of the three supernatural creatures who take three children on a quest through the universe to find the father of two of the kids ... a scientist for NASA who has been missing for four years.
It is beautifully filmed, with incredible costumes and scenery. The story is sweet and it is exciting enough to keep your interest. It also leaves you feeling good.
If you haven't seen this lovely science fiction movie, I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

@just4him - If it isn't, it should be soon. Our community was able to rent it or buy it from somewhere, so it should be available on Netflix within the next month or two.

@DianneN - I think this was meant to be a children's story, but the characters and cinematography are amazing. We watched it on TV and actually enjoyed it more than we expected to.

@DianneN - I think your grandkids would enjoy "A Wrinkle in Time." It is exciting, but not too frightening. We just went with two of our grandkids to see the Christopher Robbins movie, too. It was so charming! I think I'm living a second childhood through my grandkids. LOL

That seems like quite an odd genre for Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey to be in.
It also doesn't seem like my kind of movie.

@DWDavis - I think it is perfect for fourth graders. They will love the story and the movie was great. Reece Witherspoon was very charming in her role!

@DWDavis - I think it will be. We watched it on TV. It was purchased by our retirement community and they streamed it on our in-house TV station. They must have bought it somewhere, so you should be able to find it in the coming months.

@DeborahDiane I'm definitely going to look for it as I'm sure I'll like it . I kind of remember seeing trailers for it and I remember Oprah being in it. I like Reese Witherspoon too

@marilynda1225 - If you want a feel good movie, I think you would enjoy this one. I like a lot of Reece Witherspoon movies. I often end up feel good afterwards.

It seems to be a film that engages both mind and eye.Before all,what interests us is the film title "A Wrinkle in Time " .I will search it online later on.

It is a very interesting movie. Complete science fiction, but also a charming children's story. Beautiful cinematography!

I saw the previews and considered seeing it but then the reviews were not so good so I didn't bother. I guess I will see it when it comes for free on Netflix.

@BelleStarr - We saw it on our TV. It was offered through our retirement community. I don't think I would have gone to the theater to see it, either.
