This 30 Kg Fish Fetches $8500 in Market!

Two fishermen from Mumbai, India caught a Ghol fish a couple of days back in Arabian Sea. This fish popularly known as Black spotted Croaker , is Protonibea diacanthus is native to Indo-Pacific region . The fish weighed about 30 kgs and fetched 5.5 lakhs of Indian Rupees, (that is about $ 8500) in an auction that only lasted for 20 minutes. It is believed that the heart along with other parts of this fish is having many medicinal properties that make this fish a special one. This fish is having very high demand in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and japan because of which they are mainly exported there The fisherman are very happy to have this lucky catch . @AKRao24 yeah I had heard salmon fish eggs costs 96 thousand Indian rupees. Just a small cup of eggs. Because of protein contents.

Wow, a good catch! Seems as this type of fish (ghol, black-spotted croaker) is considered as a medicinal source of many good minerals, salts and vitamins (eg, iron, magnesium, iodine, etc). whoa, the content of collagen in this type of fish also seems to help fighting aging and wrinkles... So cool! (I have to go fishing for one right now, before all got caught by others .)
