what did you once hate but now like?

I once hated eating salad. I would go to the salad bar and fill my bowl with cheese, croutons, and bacon bits, but no vegetables. One of my girlfriends from many years ago picked on me so much about it that I began to add lettuce. Another girlfriend later on got me to add bell pepper and cucumber. It wasn't until my missus came along that I learned to include many other vegetables such as raw broccoli florets, bean sprouts, and carrot shreds. I still don't love salads, but at least I like enough things that qualify as rabbit food to make one my wife won't shake her head at.

I hated cauliflower when I was a child. Now it is one of my most liked veggies along with fava beans that I did not like either.

Biryani...honestly I used to hate it...but over a period, I developed a liking for it...maybe hormonal changes.

Lovely flower. I cannot think of one thing at the moment but I do know that there have been many things I did not like as a child because I was a child and did not understand. My childhood consisted of cartoons that made me like foods I did not like. Popeye got me eating spinach and Bugs Bunny got me on carrots. My mom was not too happy when Wmpy got me asking for burgers because we lived in apartments and no place to grill and she did not take me to fast food places so she made a Latvian version of hamburger that I really enjoyed.

I noticed people went to their dislikes of foods. I can`t think of a food I don`t like, I was raised if its on your plate eat it. I used to hate people, they got on my nerves, they were always around or always banging on my door, always wanting and wanting, more and more till I felt sucked dry, nothing ever for me. When I stopped hating people I found peace, a peaceful new place to live. Now I know this was just part of life, the part that taught me how to deal with the good people and the bad, how to say no. How to become successful.

Any type of fish but I enjoy it every now and then now.

SQUASH! When I was a kid I figured any vegetable named "squash" had to taste bad. I wouldn't even try it! Then one day ... and you might think this is a cheating way to get somebody to eat their veggies ... but I went into a restaurant and the waitress suggested a zucchini muffin. My first taste of that muffin and there was no turning back! After that another friend took me to a restaurant because she wanted me to taste their fried zucchini. I was hooked! Then I got married and my husband likes veggies. He uses zucchini in stir fry vegetables and in soups. Can you believe it? Zucchini is a squash! Not only that but yellow squash tastes good too!

I used to hate eating fish, my Dad had to bribe me to eat that stuff. Now I love fish.

I used to hate avacados, but now I adore them. Just wish they weren't so expensive.

I hate eati g vegetables when I was a kid and to my early 20's. Now , I dont hate them anymore I have learned to eat them and i found out that it ia not bad afterall and it's healthy too.

I think there are a couple of stuffs I don't like before like eating chicken liver. I have never tried it before. But I have an officemate who loves it so much I was curious and when I needed iron i told mom to go buy and I cooked it with butter and garlic and soy sauce, wow it was really good, and yummy. I now like to eat it. There was also a time that I did not like Kpop, I watch Korean drama all the time but I never got into KPOP because I think its ridiculous that they dance and all. hahaha FUnny now that I love Kpop and is even supporting them as much as buying an album, watching their concerts, and spending time watching their shows.
