I called Leticia after she went to the hospital and had some worrisome news. It seems that it was not a cold that she had this morning, but a big hypoglycemia. That is a lot worse for diabetic people.
She had to go again to the hospital for more tests and she will call me later. I am worried.
I´ll call her later on, just in case she cannot do it. Meanwhile, send good vibes and prayers. I´ll keep you posted.

I´m worried. Although I don´t know much about diabetes, I do know that have too low sugar in the blood is worse than too high.

@marguicha
Actually, there both a problem. I know nothing about high sugar too or diabetes but I heard a lot of patients suffered from that in the center. And the kidney stops functioning because of that.

She has been taking medications for some time, but the dose might have to be changed. Still, the main problem is that she is stubborn with her eating habits.

@marguicha Food is our first medicine, she should be more careful about what she eats.

All I know is that high blood sugar is a symptom of diabetes. Hypoglycemia may cause dizziness.

Hopefully all goes well with this. Many who are diabetic don't take care of themselves for some reason @marguicha and we wish we knew why.

Leticia cannot "not take care" of herself. If she does not go to the doctor´s appointments, there is a social worker who cmes to fetch her to her house. She is a chronic patient with sevral ailments.
