After Many Sleepless Nights...

It's been quite the week... or maybe two, I've lost all track of time right about now. It took 3 days of driving to get to our new province and then we stayed with my son and his family. Most of that was fun other than the fact that darling granddaughter wanted to sleep with Nana because she hadn't seen her in so long. Okay, I love her to bits, but it is like sleeping with a … okay, I'm not sure how to describe how she sleeps. All I can say is that she moves around the bed whether someone is in her way or not. And of course, that would be me and more than once I had one little foot give me a shove out of the way! Lucky hubby got a bed of his own! We are in our new house with sleeping bags and mattresses borrowed from our son and waiting for the delivery truck to show up. They are due tomorrow. I am sooooo looking forward to a proper bed. It's took us three days to get here... it's taken them a week! Have no idea why it has taken them soooo long!! Anyway, I'm so glad to put this summer behind us and have a normal life again. I will update you when they leave... I wonder how long it takes for you to unpack a house and make it look neat and tidy? Can't wait to get out and do a bit of exploring the little garden in the back yard. For a little spot, someone really loved to plant as many new flowers as they could squeeze into the back yard! Unfortunately, it rained today so we basically had to keep ourselves occupied with all the last minute bits and pieces! The garden will have to wait for another day! Now tell me what you have been up to!!

The trucks driver must not drive more than a certain numbers of hours per day, this is why it takes longer. I hope you will set up soon.

Congratulations and best wishes on your new home. Once the movers get everything in you will probably get settled quickly. Things here are quiet compared to your busy days.

Where did you move to? We moved from Ontario to New Brunswick earlier this year. It took 9 days for our furniture to arrive.....it took me a day and a half to drive from one house to another. It took me about four days to unpack and set most things in place. Some things had to wait until hubby arrived...three weeks after I arrived.
