I have been trying to locate plumbers that will come to our town off and on since last Friday. I looked for emergency plumbers. No luck. We called the other plumber that has come out once, and just got advice on the phone. On swagbucks I filled out an offer for Home Advisor. They gave me one name to contact. I did that, and they did not respond. HOWEVER I called the name from Homeadvisor. I talked to a real person. He said that we had an urgent problem and that someone can rearrange their schedule to help us tomorrow. He gave me the name and number of the person who will come. I talked to him, gave our address and we set a tentative time of tomorrow afternoon. Woo Hoo!!. The company we talked to yesterday, the guy told us one thing. It is a company who has given us estimates already. They had no idea if or when they could help us. However what the person yesterday said does not match what the guy today said about what it sounds like the problem is. My bet is on him. Meanwhile, I am going to go mow and stuff to make sure that they can get the equipment in.

Yes, and he is even going to come out tomorrow to take care of the project I have been trying to get done for three years. He wants a full days work, and will probably get it, but he did figure a way to get it for us for less. This company will also do electrical and we will save up for an electrical day soon.

I hope it all gets sorted tomorrow. I hate dealing with plumbers.

@gardengerty You have my sympathy. Few weeks ago out toilet (of which we are blessed with two fortunately) wouldn’t flush and was leaking. We got a plumber within two hours and by the end of the day had a brand new working toilet, though it cost us about 900 of your lovely dollars. I’m nearly afraid to use it!

We have nice, new toilets, however hubby is not an expert installer, so tomorrow, when Tyler gets the line clear, he will reset these. I have been so appreciative of the nice new ones.

They will either fix it or we will have the line dug up and replaced. I was glad to find someone who said "you have an urgent need, we will get someone there."

I have drain cleaner but I have been afraid to use it for fear we would splash caustic liquid all over everywhere. I do have some home remedies that help in some situations.
