The Necklace From North East, Maryland

When we were having dinner in North East, Maryland a few days ago, I bought a necklace and earrings in a blue crab design from a store which uses all the proceeds to help animals.
The photo above shows me in the jewelry I purchased. Should I use this as my new profile picture? Since I'm only a few months away from turning 70, I'm not sure I will want to use any photos I take in the future! LOL
The store is called "Toby the Golden Hero Gifts - The Store that Pays it Forward."
Inside, they have a framed newspaper article about how the owner's dog once saved the owner's life. Her dog was named Toby, so he is the reason for the store's name.
I felt so good about buying this jewelry, knowing that the money would go to help animals. Ellen DeGeneris pays the rent for the business and the employees are volunteers. Isn't that wonderful?

@amadeo - I don't think it is real turquoise, but I loved the color and design. It also makes me feel good that animals will benefit from my purchase. I decided to use this picture as my new profile picture. Thanks!

@DianneN - Thanks! I think I will switch to this new photo! Yes, I think you are right about it being a Maryland crab. We had some of them, along with lobster, calamari and other seafood, for dinner that night, so the crab jewelry seemed perfect!

@DianneN - Yes, my husband and I love seafood from both coasts. Years ago, in the early 1970s, we moved to Dallas, TX and what we missed most in those days was the lack of access to a variety of seafood. Gradually, over the following 25 years, things improved dramatically, but we certainly missed seafood when we first moved there. Now that we are back in California, we eat seafood regularly! Thanks for your positive comment on my new profile picture. It had been so long since I changed it that it took me a few minutes to figure out how to do it! LOL

@JudyEv - I think that most people want to help others. I have repeatedly encountered generous people for all types of causes. It seems that our president is one of the few people who don't like to help others! LOL

that's really wonderful.. That would convince me to buy products from there too.
In fact the reason why I bought the bamboo straw is because it helps single moms, the indigenous people, and the proceeds will go to helping poverty, clean up the ocean to help the marine life.
