I´m about to place my new duvet on my bed.

Yesterday I bought a luxurious duvet for my bed. I would never have bought it if it hadn´t been for the gift card. I am hoping that my legs do not ache so much if I have less weight over them at night. Do you have feather duvets? This is a goose feather one!

I have a duvet but it is filled with pure wool, I am allergic to geese feathers.

@LadyDuck Those sort of things are not seen anymore in the city here.

I have had wool blankets during my life, but I find them too heavy now.

@marguicha This is not a wool blanket, it is a duvet filled with pure carded wool, it's very light.

Why? Too much heat where you live?

@august18 We have cold in winter here. No so much as to have central heating but cold enough for a good duvet.

I have one filled with feathers, very warm, I hope this one will work for you. My last buy for my bed was a polyester blanket looking like a mink fur. Cheap but nice.

I have a plastic blanket that will be good in summer. But in winter, I need feathers as I don´t have central heating.

@topffer Polar blankets are something I want to buy too. Just a couple. They are very inexpensive.

@marguicha Polar blankets are good to keep warm and less heavy than a duvet. I heat my bedroom at 16°C during winter, and I sleep better than during summer.

Feather duvets have meant less weight in my back first and now in my legs.

Climate here does not call for such covers.

No I don't have a duvet but I hope your new one does the trick. I have a pretty new blue comforter to put on my bed. Hopefully I'll get around to it this weekend

I have been hoping that less weight will help my legs.

It should be lovely and warm - and very light. I actually like a bit of weight but then my legs don't ache very often.

We don't have feather duvet. I am sure it looks nice. I wish I could see it.

It doesn´t have a cover yet. It is plain white.
