At Home in Packer's Country - 14 September

It's been a good day starting at 2:30 and in the pool at 5, then a small shopping trip to Wal-Mart, and home for the rest of the day.
With notifications finished, I spent the next several hours working on Thread of Evidence. It's going much faster with less to edit.
I did ask several questions of my editor on how it's going to work now, as I'm getting into new territory. Most importantly how the editing is going to go. Basically, she will go through the manuscript and edit and send it back to me for correction and that process will keep going until it's ready to publish. I hope it won't take too long, or have too many corrections. I'll soon find out.
I'm still excited about this new turn in my life. I don't see that changing any time soon.
In the meantime, I closed down the manuscript for the day, and will devote some time here, and then watch some television. I'm sure I've spent enough time sitting at the computer already today.
I have 9 of 44 chapters gone through once again. And if you're paying attention, yes, I subdivided another chapter. I still have the same number of pages, however, the word count is coming down.
Because I have this set up for self-publishing, I did ask if she wanted me to change the page size from 6x9 to 8.5 x 11 and double space, which is standard for manuscripts. I'm waiting for her response.
That has been my day. Now to get to notifications once again. How has your day been? Thanks for reading.

Right now I'm last in the lineup of authors she's working with, and I know that. It also gives me a chance to go through it again, based on what she proofed of the first chapter, which really helps. I have until December 31 to have everything to her. It also gives my son time to get the map finished.

Glad to hear things are coming along with your book.
It was pretty quiet here today with nothing exciting going on
