Hello everyone. Typhoon had passed. As per report, there were 25 casualties up North. My fellowmen up north were tremendously affected. May God be with them. One of which you can see at the photo. This is an area in Baguio which is the Summer capital of the Philippines because it is known for the cool weather, beautiful views and surrounding. The place in the picture is known as the Valley of Colors or Stobosa Village, it is a community artwork designed by Tam-awan village group recognized as a tourist attraction. Baguio is 5,050 feet above sea level and is classified as highly urbanized city. Me and my family love going there any time of the year and is one of our favorite places. To think that the city is situated within mountain ranges and yet seeing that the flood still came through there is really heart breaking.

@kepweng Yes many years ago we had a freak storm that flooded a low expressway and it became a river.

Any loss of life is tragic and unfortunate. I hope the devastation was not too much and people can get on with their lives very soon.

I think that is the places at the foot of the mountains. Waters that gathered in the mountains will surely go down. Those up in the mountain will not experience it. I am saddened by the news that there are 21 casualties from the north. My relatives are from Nueva Viscaya. But I am happy they are safe. In Cagayan it is said that there are 40 plus casualties from landslides. Oh my!

Considering the strength of the typhoon, It's really devastating. My those poor souls find comfort elsewhere. It should be another restoration process.

Yes the aftermath of the typhoon looks horrifying to watch on TV. I can imagine that the people there are terrified to their bones seeing their community being ravaged by floods and landslides in their place. I am just relieved that it is over already. I think that the next thing to happen is the reconstruction and rehabilitation of everything that was destroyed by the typhoon. This is a back breaking activity for the people there in the North. With many electrical poles toppled there I guess it will take some time to really restore power there.
