October's On It's Way

Sitting here with streams of sweat running down my body I look at the calendar I am wishing that time would move faster towards winter.
It looks like we have many more days of high temperatures and high humidity. Hopefully it won't be as long a period of time as they say.
I am lucky, I get to stay inside with the air conditioning, at least most of the time.
It would be nice to be able to open the windows and let the fresh air flow through the house. Hopefully October will give us that cooler weather.
Tonight for dinner we are going to have egg salad sandwiches with sliced tomatoes. Me, I will have a wrap the hubby will have his sandwiches with mountain bread from Publix.
When it is warm like this we tend to eat lighter and stay out of the kitchen for any length of time.
What is the weather where you are. Is it being kind to you?

The weather here has cooled significantly. I had to turn my heat on the last few nights. Today it is cloudy with a high chance of rain.

The weather is kinder here because we finally reached spring. I like spring and summer where I live.

The seasaw season has begun. For now it'll probably be in the mid 80s with low humidity or at least below 50% which maybe high to me but surly is not as high as what you suffer with. Most likely there'll be a day or two that'll go up into the 90s and then maybe a day or two that'll get down into the 60s but not a major cool down just yet, that shouldn't happen until late November.
