Cool Morning - Hot Coffee

I got up at Pee O'Clock this morning, let the dogs out (Yes, it was me.), fed the front door cats, let the dogs in, and fed them. Somewhere in the midst of doing all this, I realized the air outside felt cool against my skin.
Such cool air upon walking in from outside is normal here in eastern North Carolina from May through September. To feel it when walking out from inside is a rare treat. A quick check of the thermometer showed it was only 65F (17C) outside.
So energized was I by the cool air that I didn't go back to bed. Instead, I made myself a cup of, gasp, hot coffee and logged into myLot. The mug the coffee is in was a gift from my youngest son for Christmas, but I don't remember which Christmas. It is one of my favorite as it reminds me of the friends I made while serving.

@DWDavis Indeed, funny though sometimes I tell them you are the killers I am not and they like no, you the killer, I am like no you the killer. I hate domesticated animals just give me a lion. lol

We have hot coffee regardless of the termperature. We got to sleep in until 7:30. Let cat out. Hubby got up and we had some together time. It was kind of stuffy this morning. It has been being cool. Nice mug. Hubby would like one like that.

I rolled out of bed..fed the cat and had a bagel with cream cheese. Glad this post was about coffee. I need some,,and to fill my new stay warm mug with it.
