Elated For Such Simple Ways of Appreciation !

My department was given a what we call Gem Award certificate , during our townhall with all officers and employees present, last week. 
As the HR begin explaining that it is for the all out support and immediate action given by a department to other departments, I never thought it was my department – Procurement Dept. 
Another was for the spoken gratitude of the Operations and Maintenance Dept. Head to our department , in our ManCom meeting last Tuesday. She added that it was only when I am the Procurement head already since May 28 , that their requests of mechanical and electrical machines that has been un-served for many month amd some for a year, were already all served now.
The Gem award was only a simple Certificate of Appreciation but it meant so much to our department. The spoken words of appreciation of the OMD head were music to my ears and my two staff. It motivated us to work well. 
Will you be already happy when words of appreciation were spoken or even a simple certificate of appreciation will be given to you?
Didn’t you feel a happy and proud feeling when they were meant for you or your team?

Actually, there will again be a party this October during our monthly townhall probably on the thrid week. The birthday celebrators for the month are given gifts courtesy of the company and a birthday party. It is always anticipated, since there are also tokens of apprreciation for whatever our mall manager sees as well done.
Last August, the mall manager gave me an appreciation token for being the Most Gorgeous. 
Imagine, me nearing my senior year is still admired as Most Gorgeous.
Actually, there will again be a party this October during our monthly townhall probably on the thrid week. @sunrisefan Oh my! Actually, it really depends if our daughter would get married and have children. I will volunteer to supervise the taking care of their children. 
But I think that will take 3 more years or even more , when she is already a surgeon.

Hells yeah if you beleive in what you are doing. I would be happy. Nice miss lady. Congrats, not sure I understand all the technical stuff, but sure sounds cool.

Yes, I agree, when you believe in what you are doing and be given an appreciation like that for everyone to hear, one will be happy and proud already.

Yes, we were so proud and happy. When I replaced their former boss, I told them what we will do, to replace the bad image the department is receiving under their former boss. They are receptive of my suggestions and under my guidance, we were able to make the department earn that very motivating aprreciation.

Yes, that is true.
You see, this department was always criticized before,m because requests for materials takes a long time before they can be served. So, I have to always guide them and suggested ways on how to work and deliver faster. And they were receptive to them so they really were able to deliver well already.
