Tonight is my Small Group meeting with the people from church who signed up for my study on Prayer. Last week I deep cleaned the apartment. This week, I've spot cleaned. This morning, I tackled the office. I couldn't let it be the only room in the apartment I didn't touch. I thought about simply closing the door, but no. It's just as clean as the rest of the house. I even Clorox wiped my desk. I cleaned the fridge on Tuesday before I bought groceries. So I'm cleaned, vacuumed, dusted, and polished for tonight. The only thing remaining is making the dessert for the meeting. I'm making apple crunch. I also have fresh fruit, I'll put in a large bowl. Yesterday, I got creative and created a Prayer Journal for the group as seen in the picture above with the books for the study. Tonight is movie night. Since the study is based on the movie War Room, we'll be watching that tonight, then dive into the study next week. I'm really looking forward to this and was amazed that of the six Small Groups this year, I have the most people joining me. People want to learn how to pray. I didn't make it to the pool this morning due to a night of leg cramps, but it did give me the opportunity to get the office cleaned and ready.
