Who needs dessert?

Who needs dessert when you have fresh out of the oven hot, home made cornbread?
Tonight I thawed a container of home made chili from the freezer. I made cornbread to go with it.
If we really need something else it is going to be cinnamon baked apples.
It has been a long day.

@marguicha For me the problem is the carbohydrates. We just have to take small pieces, I guess.

@LadyDuck Hubby cooked pasties tonight, that is a hand held meat pie. There was enough meat and prepped veggies that I am making a stew for tomorrow.

My sister in law eats cornbread with butter and jelly, we like it with just butter. Corn muffins are often sweeter than the cornbread I make, and some like those with honey. Baked cinnamon apples are a dessert or side either one.
