Why did they leave?

If you have Facebook Messenger (or any other SNS), then you must be a member of certain group chats where you talk about senseless stuff and your phone just buzzes all day. I’m a member of a few group chats with members ranging from my mom and siblings to schoolmates to workmates to friends in different fields or categories from a much older time in the past (like kindergarten schoolmates??). Recently I was added to a group chat of former mIRC (Message Internet Relay Chat) chatters. I’m a self-confessed mIRC addict and I almost didn’t graduate from college because I chose hanging out in Internet cafes chatting to strangers instead of attending my classes. But that’s another story. So a friend added me there and in total, I’m a member of 20 group chats. I seldom join in group chat conversations. I just read what they talk about, click a few likes, smile a little but basically just ignore what’s going on. Some people are born to keep the group buzzing. Me? I’m just on the sideline, quietly keeping tabs on who are arguing. Lol And there are always those who leave the group. ‘XXXXX left the group.’ would always spark….gossips! Others tend to get offended by those members who don’t seem to know that they can mute the conversation and well, avoid being ‘disturbed’. If you leave the group, chances are, people talked behind your back. Lol Have you ever left a group chat?
