He said he'd let me know

United States

I spent time with friends over the weekend. One of the people there was asking if I had found a job yet, and told me about a position that could be done from home. I'd have to travel a bit to get to the training but afterwards I could work from home. He's going to let me know more about it whenever he can. The pay is supposed to be $15/hr. I know that not all things like this are legitimate, but I believe this might be and if I can get in and get started I'd be really happy to do so. $15/hr would be the most I've ever made at a job. Here's to hoping it all falls into place.

I hope it works out for you! If you have a good internet service working from home shouldn't be a problem.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Lots of places will not let you use satellite internet, but if you have a hard wired connection you should be OK.

@snowy22315 It's cable / modem, so I hope that will be sufficient.

I hope so as well! The internet is sturdy, though there are some days when it cuts out.

@Courtlynn Plus it would be a stepping stone for that kind of work. A lot of other online opportunities require prior customer service experience.

It isn't my first choice but it is something I could do, which is what really matters right now.

I am in doubt. Is it possible $15 / hr would be paid?

It is supposedly legit. I would need to go a few counties over to be trained, which makes me think it's legitimate.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I'd enjoy working at either, but I really need something a little closer to home and that doesn't involve Winston traffic .

I think at my last job I was making $11/hr. before I retired. Nice to be able to work from home. Did you see where FamilySearch.org has the Ellis Island records for free look up. Weren't you the one who was doing some family background research? Thought that might be of help.

It's a little less than what is the custom, but it's not a bad wage either.

$15 isn't a lot, but it seems like for you that would be great. I really hope you get it and it works out for you. Onward and upward as I like to say. GO for it.

Sure, $15 /hr isn't the best rate, but it is better than what I've had in the past. I am hoping it will work out, it would be perfect for me.

@ScribbledAdNauseum No. Definitely. I always believe anyway it is not how much you make, but what you do with what you make that counts. I hope it all worked out.
