Rainy Morning, Wish I Could Stay Home and Write

Friday has arrived and the rain along with it. Blessedly, it is a warm rain, 70F (20C) this morning here in eastern NC. Still, the rain gives a dreary start to the day. I stayed up well past my bedtime last night working on my NaNoWriMo project. All in a good cause as finished the day with 1,794 words written. I'm going to try to get a few more 'penned' before work this morning. What are your plans for this Friday? How is the weather in your corner of the world?

@allknowing There is no money prize for finishing your 50,000 words. I have gone on to finish two of my previous NaNo projects into published books that have sold well for indie books.

Sometimes I don't know why we still have a mailbox. 90% of what arrives is junk. I guess the other 10% makes it worthwhile.

It was bright sunny in the morning and I washed all my heavy curtains and put them to dry. But all of sudden post lunch it became dark and rainy. I have so much of heavy curtains and clothes to dry. Feeling gloomy now.

I'd take the rain as long as the temp was around 70 F. We are in the 50's today with really strong wind...which makes it even colder! That's great about your word count on your NaNoWriMo project! I am still sitting at 134, lol.
