Special Package in the Mail Today

The mail delivery person delivered a very special package to me today. It came in a padded envelope and was addressed to my business. Yes, it was the proof copy of the paperback version of my seventh book, STORM DAMAGE. My missus is reading it now and looking for typos and printing errors. When she is finished I will go over it. Once we are both satisfied, I'll go live with the publication. Has the mail brought you anything good lately?

@JudyEv It is not far off at all. I would look at 18/11 and wonder what the 18th month is and when did we add six months to the calendar before I remembered it is the alternate way of putting the day first.

Yesterday (Saturday), the mail man delivered a package with a nice new pair of shoes that I had ordered on Friday, a great service. I should have not bought another pair, but I liked.

@DWDavis I like those shoes a lot, the heel is less high than those I usually wear, so more comfortable.

I got my electricity bill today in mail. And it is not pleasant at all. Congratulations on your 7th book. All the best for the last edit.

Our electricity bill now shows up in our email as do most of our bills. It's still not pleasant when it arrives but since the power company has erected numerous solar farms in our area our bill has decreased by a nice amount.

@DWDavis Our comes in both postal mail and email. So it is double reminder This time it was high due to lots of guests and use of heater, washing machine and AC in all rooms.

@arunima25 I know how guests can drive up an electric bill. When my older son comes home for a visit we see a spike in the electric and water bills.
