The first day on the warehousing training course indicates it is as useless as previous similar courses. ne lad was kicked off the course for saying as much.
I had to be up at 6am for a two bus journey. I had to do a maths test despite being a degree student. Rge test was extremely easy though.
Mu landlord is doing some minor tiling repair work on my flat later this week so I did a lot of tidying up ready. I am very tired now at day's end. Tomorrow back on the course. Groan.

It seems they do a lot of stuff that useless in order to get a job. I have always been told it is so they can see how much of a team player you are and not so much that it has anything to do with what that actual work is. That crap does drive me nuts also. When I was young I could suck it up, but when you get older you have no tolerance for the stupid games because you already know how the world operates and the people doing the hiring cannot stand when you know what's going on.

@moonandstars yes they expect you to fill in an application form with all the same info on your CV - it wastes time

@moonandstars they want mindless unthinking dolts at most companies - the courses are just there so the government can claim it is offering training - the colleges happily take the fees the government offers them

I would hate to have that job and have to take two buses to and from. What a day it would make.

@LadyDuck the companies running the courses get paid high grant fees for their services and the government gets to say it is providing training programmes

@LadyDuck yes, and the tax-payers blame the unemployed rather than the government who could train us in proper skills that might actually get us new jobs but never do
