I felt sad at the moment. One person I know who was in dialysis is gone. It was said that after her Kidney Transplant, she needs to undergo 2 more major operations, but she was consumed by infections and her new kidney got complications. She had her Kidney Transplant last October 16, the operation was good but the next day she got fever indicating she has an infection. Then was transferred to an ICU for 24/7 close monitoring and was put to intubated. Then today, she was pronounced dead. I know how much she wants to have that Kidney Transplant, and sad to say, it did not go through. I am offering her a prayer. May her soul be rest in peace.

Yes, it was said that the Kidney Transplant was successful but the next day she got fever indicating there was an infection.

Yes, and too bad, she waited for her Kidney Transplant and been working on it. Too sad because she was okay when she did not have the KT, and she was gone now.

That is why I'm afraid of having a Kidney Transplant here in the Philippines if ever I will get the chance to have a Kidney Transplant, I rather have it in the US. If only someone there can sponsor my transplant.

Kidney transplants are good but sad that she got an infection. The hospital I suppose is it to be blamed for this

Why do you say so? As what I have heard, the KT was successful, but she needs to undergo 2 major operations, maybe when they did that, she acquires infections.
