Possible eyelid surgery.

I just came back from the ophthalmologist. I wanted him to see my eyelids and answer me why tears came out of my eyes all the time. This is the third doctor I see about this and in seems that it has to do with age. He will see if I can have an eyelid surgery that is not considered cosmetic so that the health insurance pays for it. I am very happy that finally I discovered a doctor that understood my problems and accepted that they were problems. Next Tuesday I have to have an eye exam with him and meanwhile I have to take another exam to see if the insurance covers the procedure. Tomorrow I´ll check what I´ll do.

I know that here it would be covered because watery eyes can be caused by several eye problems. Usually the eye produces excess tears to combat irritation and dryness.

I will have 2 exams done before the insurance says yes or no. I hope that I will have no problem.

In our country this is a cosmetic problem, and women mostly remove the high eyelids in a plastic surgeon.

The doctor said that this was a cosmetic problem unless it also meant eye problems as I have. He is a plastic eye doctor.

I liked the doctor. Let´s hope the exams confirm the diagnosis.

My Aunt used to have tears running from her eyes all the time but in her case it was her tear duct. She didn't like it but had to accept it because back then they didn't really have a surgery for that kind of problem.

On Tuesday morning I have my tear duct exam. Then I will invite Leticia out for lunch and will return to the hospital for the next test.

I have had a weepy eye for about a week now and will go to a doctor if it's still troubling me after the concert.

I have had problems for the past 2 years. I have gone to a couple of doctors who have given me new glasses and eyedrops. I think that this doctor really knows what I have.

A good insurance company will cover that and I hope yours does so
