Stuffed The Day After

I didn't overeat yesterday (Thanksgiving) but I ate more than usual. Like the turkey, I felt stuffed. Leftovers are in the refrigerator. So dinner is cooked. I even skipped my dessert yesterday. My favorite pecan pie is waiting for me. I will get to it later today probably. All in moderation.
The weather is a little overcast. Rain is on the way later this evening. Cleaning inside mostly today. Then I need to get a second round on my treadmill.
And this crazy Black Friday shopping has gotten out of hand. No shopping for me unless it is done online. And then that is not much at all.

Sounds like a good day , I did attend back Friday shopping but I went early to avoid the wildness haha

We had a lot of pies. I think we had... twelve. 
I made a macadamia pie this year since I'm allergic to pecans. It's the same recipe as pecan pie, just substituting chopped macadamia nuts for the pecan halves. It was sooooo good, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to cut the richness.

I can certainly understand how you feel. I sometimes feel like that, after a family gathering like that. It was sunny earlier, but now it's cloudy. We're supposed to get some rain this weekend. Well, a mix of rain, snow, and stuff.

Left overs are great to have, since we went to a restaurant we don't have any leftovers to have that does suck in away, no turkey sandwich

That is good that you didn't overeat, that feeling is not fun, I did and felt miserable! Moderation is a good way to eat even on the holidays!

@CarolDM Yes, that is what I hear that they do. I gave in because the rest of the time (for the most part) I stick to the low carb and don't get to eat things like potatoes.

I was fine, until I got started on the desserts sitting around everywhere. I do not have any left overs we are at home now. I have a turkey to prepare for us to eat, as well as food I prepared before the holiday. I am just beginning to get over feeling stuffed.

Since we had our dinner on Wednesday, we ate left overs yesterday. Put up the tree and hope to decorate it later. Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving.

No shopping for me either. There is nothing I need, so why bother. Unless GROCERIES were on the cheaps for Black Friday. But Black Friday sales never really pertain to anything anyone actually NEEDS. Glad you ate well and had a good time, and man...those leftovers will only get better.
