Gone, gone, gone

After being cooped up here and pretty well anchored to the house for a couple of days, we decided we had to get out.
Today was decent weather. Tomorrow Bob will be drinking "prep" for his Thursday procedure, so today was THE day.
While we were out getting things and shopping etc. we ate at Cracker Barrel again. I took my camera in because it is easier than my phone when it comes to moving pictures to myLot. This image is from my place at the table.
We had the lunch special, which on Tuesday is meatloaf with two sides. Usually mashed potatoes plus one of your choice. Also a bread plate with each meal. I got baby carrots for my side.
I will have some other posts up. All in all we got gas for the car, went in Dillons, drove to Sam's Club, then Aldi's, then lunch at Cracker Barrel, and Wal Mart before coming home. I made our evening meal out of mostly left overs.
Bob will be able to have breakfast before 9 tomorrow morning and then nothing but liquids until around noon on Thursday.
I missed being here, and other places online today. I am trying to make up for what I have not done, so I will be here for a while.

Is it possible they only have turnips in certain seasons? Hubby usualy gets fries. He forgets they have okra. My sis likes beans and greens.

It was because I only buy organic, they had the other kind but those I won't waste my money on @GardenGerty

One procedure he has had before with no problems the other one is new. Maybe we will find out why he is losing so much weight.

It was very good, old fashioned food.Comfort food. Bob got extra gravy and had fried apples as his side.
