Will I actually sell a pair of vintage speakers today?

I've been listing vintage speakers I've restored on Craigslist for years now. But the market has been slow over the past year, and it's been months since I've actually sold a pair.
Today I received a call about my most expensive speakers for sale--a pair of Acoustic Research AR-3as from about 1969. I redid the cabinets and screens and had the potentiometers (midrange and treble controls) redone.
A fella from Berkeley intends to use them in a bar that will feature vinyl records played through a (mostly) vintage system. I should ask him whether they'll feature live music.
If he likes them, they'll be gone this afternoon, and I'll have a bit more space in my smallish apartment. Wish me luck!

That would be great. I hope he's willing to pay your asking price for them too.
Have you ever looked to see if your area has any facebook pages directed to selling things? I know our area has more than two of those, but I've only joined one or two. People sell all sorts of things on there. Mostly old clothes and things in their house, but possibly things like your speakers too. I know that people will say they'll be by and never show though, so that gets annoying. I don't know what the percentage of that happening is. Possibly that's the same for craig's list. I've sold things on that before, although, I mostly use it when hiring for our business.

@TheHorse That's great as I'm guessing you're saying that he did purchase your speakers?

@MarshaMusselman He did. It was perfect. I asked $1300 on Craigslist. He offered $900. We settled on $1100.

Sounds like a good sale. Good luck. Also the vintage club sounds like a fun place to visit.
