I am not hungry, but I wanted to eat something before going to bed. There was some leftover pasta with pesto, but more pasta was not for my diet.
I was looking for a piece of fresh cheese when I found a small pot. It contained a wonderful tomato soup that Letica made yesterday. It was done with real chicken broth and there was nothing that would mean extra calories in it except for a pinch of sugar I like to add to tomato soups and sauces.
So my dinner will be a mug of tomato soup and that will be it. What will you have for dinner, friends?

@NJChicaa It is very easy. I use canned peeled tomatoes. They go into the blender with the broth.

just the tomato soup and no carbohydrates like a piece of bread? hmm, for me i do prefer to eat rice and some viands before i go to bed.

Tomato soup is one of the few soups I can have in summer. As for winter, my favorite is onion and potato soup.

I was out shopping today and bought some Chinese food. I heated up some egg foo yong for dinner. The tomato soup sounds good. I sometimes sprinkle some parmesan in my tomato soup.
