Those old time variety shows

When dad finally got us a TV in 1962 one of our favorite type of shows were those variety shows. One of the funniest to me was the Dean Martin show, at the time I had no idea about all the political incorrectness of todays world so pleeeze don't sue me cuz I only want to make ya laugh. No, there isn't anything inappropriate in his show, we had censors back then so not even the word Damn would have been spoken. Anyway, some of the skits in this Christmas show from 1968 are hilarious, do you know who Dean Martin was?

I cannot remember the Dean Martin Show, may be it was not broadcast in Italy in the late 60's.

That makes sense @LadyDuck the only show I recall having any kind of foreign country acts in it was the Ed Sullivan show.

I never liked the silliness of Jerry Lewis but the variety show had so many different old time actors in it.

His show ran from 1965 - 1974, I didn't know they did reruns of it.
