I am in pain. Since last night my left knee, shin, and ankle have been giving me a fit. I'm not sure why I just know it hurts like the devil. Actually I am thinking the time for knee replacement is coming rapidly towards me. I hope not, the doctors say I am not a good candidate for surgery. I am having a hard time walking on it even with my brace on. Also every few minutes or so I have a pain shoot through my knee that is annoying and hurts. Ok, I am finished moaning now. Today since I am couch bound I think I will do as much writing as I can. That and reading and many watching a TV show or two. What is going on with you? What are your plans for the day?

My knees have been hurting because it has been so rainy lately. When it is rainy or super cold my arthritis flares up. Sorry you are in pain. No special plans for the day, do some cleaning, cooking and mid week service at church this evening.

My plan was much the same for the same reasons. Both my knees were bad today, so no pool for me. Though my plans to stay home got derailed because the management decided to plow the parking lot and I needed to leave. I know my bad knees is because of weather systems coming through. I hope your knee feels better soon. I'm going to be writing soon. I want to get a couple chapters taken care of if possible.

I have a problem with both knees also. Sometimes more with one than the other. My pain seems to rear it's ugly little head whenever it feels like. I am usually better equipped to ignore it to some extent. Hope you get a lot of writing done.

I had a rough night last night due to pain. I slept about 2 hours and then was up for an hour and half walking around and trying to get my legs and feet to stop aching so I could sleep. I finally got back to sleep at around 5:30am. I hate nights like that. But I slept until almost noon so I can function today.

I'm so sorry you are in pain and it seems like you cant do much about it. I have a plan to go out and have my underarm waxed. Then I'm going to the pet shop to pick up my dog's Acana. It's her supply of food for three months. I will also go shopping with my son. The weather is not so good though. It's windy and gloomy.

@toniganzon Nope, it is still hanging around. It's a stubborn little thing. It has decided it likes it here in my knees and legs. At least it has lessened a bit so I can ignore it if I don't move around.

Hope your knee gets to feelin better. It's freezing cold out and they claim it might snow, I'm not a fan of snow so I'm indoors and mostly lotting or cooking or watching tv.

@rebelann I miss the days when I used to bundle up and get cozy sitting in front of the fireplace. As we speak I am sitting here in shorts and a sleeveless top.

@HazySue Thank goodness for that relief Susan. If it keeps up, I am not sure if you would be interested in acupuncture but it worked for me very well. It released the nerves that were caught in my back.

Have you tried getting injections? My brother has bone-on-bone issues with his knee and he gets cortisone shots once a quarter. My knees hurt occasionally, and I'll stick some lidocaine patches on them to calm the pain down. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Pain isn't fun.

I have and it does not seem to help. Usually I am able to cope better. Today it isn't half bad.

I have knee pain in both knees and some days it's almost impossible to do anything. I know a change in weather flairs it up but I'm holding out on any kind of surgery until I totally can't walk. Hope with some rest your knee feels better. I know a friend of mine got some shots in her knee and it really helped.

I have been told that surgery is my next option. My left knee is worse than my right knee. I am so sorry to hear that you are having pain in your knees. It is miserable.

True, it makes it hard to get around when you knees don't cooperate. It's ok, some days aren't half bad. Most of the time I can ignore it.

Thanks, it always lessens after a day or two and I am better able to cope. I am lucky I have so many things that interest me that can be done sitting down.
