Not a Good Year so Far

This year is turning out to be a challenge. The first day, I got bad restaurant food. On day two, my car would not start. Now, on day three, my medications are missing. They said they delivered them yesterday but they are not here. The drug store tracked down the driver and found they got delivered somewhere else. They are having trouble getting them back. I have to wait til tomorrow to get a new shipment, if they bring them to the right place. It seems that people who deliver stuff don't care where they leave it. Do you have trouble getting the things meant for you or do they just leave it wherever they feel like it?

I know life is full of good and bad, but I really hope you've gotten some of the bad out of the way for a long time!

Yes, maybe all the bad stuff will be in the first part of the month and then it will be great for the rest of the year.

@porwest Is there any weirdness in your life or is it smooth and sweet all the time?

OOh... that isn't the nicest way to start a new year is it. Here's hoping that the rest of it will be smooth sailing!

That is not good when you don't get your medications delivered on time.

It can really mess things up and then your body has to adjust to taking them again.

I am sorry you have so many problems. We have things delivered at our address and we usually have to sign to get them.

@akalinus They make us sign to have proof that the package is delivered. If we do not sign, we can claim a delivery twice, they have no proof the package arrived safely.

@LadyDuck I did get the package a few days after the second delivery. I called the pharmacy right away and told them about it, that the package was unopened when I got it and the bottles were sealed. They said that once it leaves the store, they can't take it back. So now, I have extra.

I did get it. Now I have to be there to get future shipments and have to sign for them. I did not think it was necessary before. They just left them on a table inside my porch. The signing for them is assurance that I got them.

I do have that kind of trouble because the road I live on has almost the same name as another road. So people go to the other road instead of mine. But I haven't had any trouble with mail though.

I finally got a new batch of medication. The trouble is that I live on the border of two towns. I live in one and if I cross the street, I am in the other. There have been a lot of misdeliveries because of the confusion.

Maybe it is better to get the bad times over with early in the year so the rest is smooth sailing.

Not getting your medications would be a problem especially if you can't get more immediately.

It is a problem when you can't sleep because things are hurting.

When my son lived here, he ordered something that was delivered to another street. The company sent another one and after a couple of weeks, the person who got the first package brought it over. Now he had two. Why is life so complicated?

Me, too. I have not had them in days and one of them is for nerve damage. Another miserable night. I did not sleep last night. Then, to have this happen makes me feel bad. I know, I just need to be patient.
