@BelleStarr Jeff told me that we’re about 3-4 hours away from each other, depending on how fast we drive. I guess our weather is different from yours. Knowing Florida, the weather can change abruptly.

@DianneN Didn't go skating at all. In fact after I got off myLot, I started feeling grossed out, and I was sick the entire day. The kids were fine to take care of themselves - I was in bed from morning til evening - 2 bites of banana and a couple sips of water - my body just totally shut down. But this morning I seem to be mostly ok - so what the heck was that? Oh, so you may have heard that the teachers were striking here later in the week. We stand with the teachers . . . so I am opting to keep the kids home those days. Maybe then we'll go skating .

@much2say So sorry you were sick. It could have been a 24 hour bug or food poisoning, but glad you are beginning to feel better. I call those good diet days. No, I didn't know the teachers were on strike. I wondered why the kids were skill on vacation, because even private schools reopened. I'm so glad you are supporting the teachers. I actually went on strike my very first day of teaching! My husband was President of his Teachers Association and led his teachers on strike that same time in a different system. We had just returned from our honeymoon, too, and the only time I got to see him was on TV. It was worth striking after all was said and done/ Hopefully, you will get your ice skating in.. Feel better!

. I'm sure your hubby would do anything to make you happy! Better book soon. We had difficulty finding a flight down here for the beginning of December. Nothing like Florida to get out of the cold.
