No Cable, Internet or Phone

I've spent a good part of the afternoon with no cable or internet. I have all three (which includes the landline) with our local provider. I was in the middle of doing something online when suddenly there was no connection.
I hate when this happens. Thankfully it's not a frequent occurrence so an afternoon without tv or computer made me focus on spending my time doing other things.
I got the vacuuming done, read a few chapters in my book, did a little crocheting and put on the sauce for tonight's dinner ( baked chicken parmesan with whole wheat spaghetti)
All in all its been a good day

I got a lot done today and it felt good. In think I'm going to start limiting my computer time

What are you crocheting at the moment? I am so envious. I am no good with needlecraft but I would love to be able to crochet grannysquares and make my own afghan. I am sure I've told tyou this before.
I do not like when the internet is down, but I can find ways to entertain myself otherwise. My main source of income comes from the internet at the moment, so you can imagine how worried I get when it goes down. I usually read, color (I find coloring so relaxing), or else catch up on cleaning.
I'm glad it's been a [i]good[i] day for you though.

Every cloud has a silver lining. So basically when I don't have internet (unfortunately it often happens here) I do some cleaning, laundry, and stuff that gets me focused just like you did. I am glad that you have internet again.

I hate when that happens. I was freaking out for a bit when my Computer was not wanting to work right, and trying to figure out what I would do now if it chooses to go out again. (It was 3 yrs old in October)

I had that last night,,my internet went down unexpectedly and I couldn't watch Netflix. That was a pain.

I hate when that happens. It's like you don't know what to do for a few minutes. My internet went out (DNS error too) for a minute, but came back on.
