Relaxing with the new addition to our family

Its been stressful waiting for things to happen, however, I have some good news too. We have a new addition to our family. We decided to get our pet dog Spark a companion a few months ago, but then we didn't find the right dog. Yesterday someone called and offered us a pup and before we knew she was home. We decided to call her Zoe. She is full of life and vitality and so the name. She is such a playful thing and keeps us completely busy. I have had no time today to be on mylot. But then I have forgotten all my worries. I haven't been able to get a decent picture of her as she jumps on me the moment I sit down to get her picture. I will try and post one soon. Hope you've had a great strt to your day.

Congratulations. Puppies bring new life into the home, I wish I didn't have 3 cats so I could adopt a new puppy as well..

You have trouble on your hand unless you puppy proof your house.

@allknowing Its rather hard to puppy proof our house.. But Zoe seems to be very playful and is also teething.. So I have to be behind her all the time. Thankfully I have had enough dogs to know how to manage her or I will be in serious trouble.

oh what fun, we wanted to get a puppy least summer but ended up with an older rescue dog. I do have to say I prefer to raise them myself. I can get rid of any bad habits that way

@sofssu So they are of the same breed. I suppose she's smaller but Spark is afraid of her.

@SIMPLYD As as spark, shihtzu .. Spark is afraid of her as she pounces on him.. so he doesn't come down to the living area until she sleeps.

@LadyDuck Its the same breed as Spark .. she is a shiztzu a Chinese breed.. I like this particular breed.

@responsiveme spark is acting like Zoe doesn't exist and avoiding being in the same room as here.. He seems to like the first floor more these days all by himself.. LOL i hope he comes around.
