I needed groceries and decided to go on the coldest day of winter so far. It didn't take long to realize I need my thermal underwear today as soon as I stepped outside. The digital readout on the way home from Wal-Mart showed 15 F. When I checked the weather earlier, it was in the 20s with a wind chill of 1F. So, it's gotten colder.
So, as I got to the checkout, and the clerk finished ringing everything up, she said, you won't see that again, and she said $100 even. No, I don't think I ever will. Unless I duplicate this mornings purchase. When I got home, I realized I only forgot one thing, Apple Cider Vinegar. I still have a couple cups left in the gallon jug, so I'll be good for a little while.
This morning I'll be leaving to get my hair taken care of. Hopefully, by the time I leave, I'll be thawed out. Until then, I'm going to take care of notifications. Hopefully, I can get enough down that it won't seem overwhelming the next time I log in.
I didn't go to the pool this morning, and the severe cold is the reason why. My knees were in rebellion all night due to the new system coming in. They're doing good now that I've been up for a few hours, for which I'm grateful. My new suit is supposed to arrive by Friday, so I might just wait until then to go back to the pool.
Writer's Guild went great last night, and I got one more chapter edited for Destination Love. I also edited a chapter of A Score to Settle as I'm also reading that one at Writer's Guild and getting feedback.

Brrrr I'm cold just reading about the temperature there. It's getting colder here too and my knees are complaining.
Hitting $100 on the head is pretty unusual.
Sounds like you're having a good day. Things are good here. I'm making my grocery list but it's doubtful it will be $100

Wow it sure is cold there, make sure you keep warm.. And that's awesome that it came to a 100 even, that don't happen often. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Brr now that is a chilly day..Is it windy too? Yesterday, was a beautiful springlike day here..now we are back to winter. It's not bitter though..just in the 40's.

I think that we had a day of our January Thaw and now it's nasty out there again. Love your $100.00 story. I don't think that I have ever had that happen to me either!

We're in January thaw right now for a couple days with it in the 30s before it drops back down next week.

I need to get a heating pad. I'm sure it would work, but I never think of it.
. How remarkable to have hit $100 on the head. My doorbell keeps ringing, so I may need to go for another walk. Sheesh!
