That Christopher Robin Movie...

My daughter was nervous about watching it... she hates sad movies but decided to give it a try last night. Five minutes into the movie she turned it off again. At breakfast, I asked her what had happened in the first five minutes and she said that all the characters were sitting around Christopher Robin saying good-bye, that he was off to boarding school! That apparently was enough for her. Is the movie full of sad little moments or does it get better from there on out?
I hate sad movies so I think that she inherited that trait from me! So, if you have seen the movie, what did you think of it?

@Hate2Iron I've heard of it, and I saw the trailer for it. It looks like a good movie. I just haven't seen it.

I don't mind a little sadness, I cry and then move on

I hate it with a passion. I can even tear up while reading a book. Doesn't take much it seems lol!

My daughter has me really curious... maybe we can get to the end of it together and see which one of doesn't cry. That just might work lol. I can just see the two of us now... doing our best to stop the tears from welling up! At least the thought is making me laugh as I picture it lol!!

If anything suddenly jumps into your head about the movie I would love to hear about it. We aren't sure whether to give it another go or not!!

We might give it a go one more time. I will make some hot chocolate, pop some corn and then we will have a good cry together if the occasion arises ;)

I haven't seen it but you've made me think about why I watch so few movies. I hate seeing people hurting or getting hurt so I never watch violent films if I can avoid it. I can manage 'sad' a bit easier as often there is a nice happy ending.

Christopher Robin's real life wasn't happy.

I watched the movie, it has ups and downs somehow. It is hilarious sometimes! I cried when seeing this movie because it brought some beautiful moments from my childhood. I used to be so carefree, and almost anything would cheer me up, and now it's about being successful, independet, earning money, being in a rush, among others.
