Would you buy a 27-pound bucket of mac and cheese?

Supposedly, Costco is selling a 27-pound bucket of mac and cheese. It has a shelf-life of up to 20 years. This mac and cheese is not already made. There are packets of elbow pasta and cheddar sauce mix, which you use to make the mac and cheese and make for 180 servings. The price tag is $89.99.
I am not sure if that is expensive or not but I am wondering why someone would buy such a huge quantity of it. Unless it is someone that serves mac and cheese at their restaurant and doesn't want to make it from scratch the gourmet way. Funny enough, the item is out of stock and on backorder.
I am not sure I'd ever buy this... it's way too much.

Mac and cheese can be delicious if prepared right. I recently got mac and cheese at a restaurant and it was not good.

I am not a fan of those kraft mac and cheese packets... But if mac and cheese is prepared fresh and gourmet it is delicious. I had some of those at restaurants.

I am guessing your family are mac and cheese lovers... In that case it would probably go quick.

I guess it was designed for either a restaurant kitchen, a camp or church kitchen or something like that. I don't think the average consumer could use something like this unless you were one of those families with beaucoup kids or something.

I know Costco sells stuff in bulk but I would have never thought it would sell something as huge as this. I think they also sell a huge thing of Nutella, though not sure on the quantity or the price.

If you were catering for a kids' camp or something such quantities might be handy.

I wonder if this price is considered affordable or expensive? Seems like a lot to me.

27 pounds of mac and cheese is out of my league since where I would put the meal in a small refrigerator?

Well, as this is not a cooked meal and has a shelf-life of up to 20 years, you can put it in the pantry.

Preppers would by this. Preparing for things to go bad and we all will have to feed ourselves. Yes I would buy that.

Perhaps it would be good if you wanna stock up on stuff in case of an emergency or natural disaster... But then you have to prepare it, which would require a stove or microwave... so not sure how convenient it is... canned food is better in this case I think.
