When someone comes to your home is there something special they comment on?

Not when you walk in the door does someone comment but when they come in the den they look at a picture I have on the wall framed. It is a picture of Moshe and the Israelites crossing the dry Red Sea. It does stand out. I like that picture but I am thinking of switching with another one to see if what people will say about that one.

@Hannihar They loved my decorating skills. They also like my clock. This is the best picture of the clock from when I first moved in and hadn't fully unpacked yet.

In my home people comment on our painting from Burma (Myanmar) and my Japanese wall decorations. They also comment on our books. They say: "Wow, you have so many books" Actually they haven't seen them all, because the rest of them are in boxes in the storage room

@Hannihar Well I am trying to get some nice pictures to hang up like paintings but no one ever comes to see me anyway. I will one day take a photo of the two paintings I will get. I have one, but I am saving money to get another one.

Yes! I always try to make sure I have my scentsy's turned on before any guests come to my house. I love to make sure my house smells great!

When people first come into the house they are often unprepared for such a big room. Our dining/lounge is really just one big space so it looks quite big.

There is a poem I wrote based on a picture of my two young nephews. My brother in law surprised me with a framed picture of the boys the poem was based on, and my poem. It's hung just inside my front door, and people do notice it. One day I might post it here.
