Product Reviews, Are They Credible?

The thought of buying an anti snoring device came to my mind to aid my husband in his snoring problem.
Saw so many ads about them; then I read some reviews about each kind. I didn't know if they are telling the truth. You see, I am frugal these days because we have to manage our little retirement fund. We do not want to go cashless on days we need it most, so buying things must be very wise from now on unlike in our younger days when husband and I were both earning from our jobs.
Do you always believe such product reviews on the net?

It is best if it can be tested personally rather than rely on some reviews.

Well, maybe forums is more reliable because more people can be asked about it's efficacy.

@acelawrites Yes. Some reviews are paid. On forums i think it should be not.

Yes, at least we may have the knowledge on how credible a reviewer is.

It needs a thorough research on the credibility of the reviewers.

I don't always believe in product reviews especially from online shopping sites. There are some who let others write positive reviews for their products for some dollars. I've been invited once by my online friends.. But I didn't try it...

Maybe I could write positively when I also tested the product to be so efficient. It is hard to lie.

Thanks. I always tell him to lay on his side, but he could not avoid lying flat when already asleep.

I've seen people talk about writing reviews of products that they have no intention of using. . . so I'm leery of product reviews these days. I used to write a lot of them and would only do so after trying something (multiple times if possible) and really considering my experience with it.

It is nice if it comes from people like you who had really tested the product for its efficacy.

I mostly believe in them :D but I prefer those reviews with pictures for evidence.

Yes, it is nice to have pictures so you'll be sure about the product.

It depends on who is doing the reviewing!
Sew a tennis ball to the back of his pyjama jacket - that's cure his snoring!
