Are you going to watch the Super Bowl today?

Today is Super Bowl Sunday. I don't really care for the game. I am more interested in the half time show and Maroon 5 performing. And maybe some of the commercials.
Hubby and I were invited to his friend's house to watch the Super Bowl so that's where we are going later. It's probably about a 1.5 hour drive there from our house. Not looking forward to the long commute.
And I can't really say I wanna go but I don't have much of a choice. My other option is to stay home but that means spending many hours by myself, which is not something I want to do, as I do enough of that on a regular basis.
Are you going to watch the Super Bowl today?

I wasn't cheering for either team but thought Patriots would win and they did. Wonder how much I would've won had I participated in the betting thing...

Well, turns out that instead of his friend's house the gathering was at his friend's parents' house, so the commute was pretty quick. The game was boring for me. I can't say I was a huge fan of the commercials, though didn't catch them all. And thought I love Maroon 5 I wasn't a fan of the halftime show.

@hillhjill I am not a fan of American Football in general. But hubby is into it and every year he and his friends get together to watch the Super Bowl. And thankfully it is not one of those guys-only things so I can go too. I may not enjoy it much but on the other hand I am not stuck home alone. So, it's a give and take.

@lovebuglena I'm glad you didn't have to drive so far, sorry that the commercials sucked and the halftime show.
We were at a friend's playing games, so we didn't even turn the TV on.
