I have not been here much today

Bob was confused about all of his appointments, as the VA has their finger in things and it has an effect on them.
Don't get me wrong. Tomorrow he will be seeing a urologist at the Bob Dole Medical Center. It will not cost him to go there and perhaps we shall get something done or some answers. It just gets confusing for him sometimes.
He thought he had an appointment today, but he did not. He decided we had better go find out where he was going.
That meant a trip to Wichita. I wanted him to do it last week when we were in Wichita, but no such luck.Three and a half hours out of our day, but we know how to get to the correct building.
So my routine was mixed up today and I have not finished anything. I will also be gone a lot tomorrow. Tonight, I want to get his med sheets ready to take with.
I know you will still be here, though, and that is a good thing.

I have a file saved online to print off Tonys meds for each doctor appointment.

@andriaperry my kids are allergic to so many medications and my memory is so bad. I have a notepad app and in it is listed what each of my kids are allergic too.

I have a document in Microsoft Word that I edit and print out. I have added at the bottom what Bob is being treated for, so I get it all straight and do not have to repeat for every new doctor. The nurse that admitted him yesterday thanked me for that.

I have a notebook with all of his appointment and insurance type cards in it. I was given a calendar all on one page and I keep track on there as well so I do not double book him. I do not have any appointments right now.

@LadyDuck Yes, we have to have our cards with us. His wallet is a fright, so we put the cards in the notebook.

@GardenGerty We must bring physically our plastic Insurance Card all the time with us, I keep in my purse both mine and the one of my husband, all the appointments are noted on the wall calendar and my "paper" agenda.

Hope all the confusion gets sorted out for you both.
I also use a calendar in the mobile phone for such things as appointments.

I have not gotten that habit, yet, and it would not help him. He would not use it. I do have a notebook with pockets for appointment cards.

Glad you know where you are going at least. Mom and dad always had a lot of appointments and it does get confusing sometimes.

We have a notebook with pockets for the cards and anything else we need, like a sheet with current meds.

@GardenGerty The hospital and doctors group here started printing off a sheet at each visit that had all of their meds and appointments on it. That helped a lot but could still get confusing between the 2 of them.

Yes, I get texts, and phone calls on our landline. Bob does not hear well and so he can be right in the room and not understand the changes. I guess I am his calendar.
