Are you keen to take a short course in something?

WorDazza (@WorDazza) submitted a great piece about how he believe subjects for research projects are decided. He has some up with a very funny post. I’ll add the link at the bottom. I was inspired to fish out a list of courses on offer at our Technical and Further Education (TAFE) facilities. These are all a bit of fun too and certainly in no way meant seriously. Some of the titles of these non-existent courses are: • Overcoming peace of mind • Creative suffering • Guilt without sex • How to overcome self-doubt through pretence and ostentation • Money can make you rich • Packaging and selling your child • Looters guide to cities • The under-achievers guide to very small business opportunities • Basic kitchen taxidermy • Creative tooth decay • Tap dance your way to social ridicule • Needlecraft for junkies • Bonsai your pet • Self-actualisation through macramé So, do any of these take your fancy? Perhaps you have a fun course of your own that you’d like to add. The photo was taken on our recent house-boat holiday.
I was encouraged to write this discussion by my favourite Australian @JudyEv (don't get excited Judy, your countrymen have set a pretty low bar!). Actually,...

Just read this while grabbing a quick coffee at work. I now have a keyboard sprayed with coffee. Thanks!! I did once sign up for a course on overcoming apathy. Sadly it was cancelled due to lack of interest.

@JudyEv I confess that I would like a teensy little kitten they are so cute when they are young and small. The photo from your house boat is beautiful.

Wouldn't you like a teensy little kitten? There were worse courses suggested but many were quite politically incorrect.
