Schools Closed - No Pool

I knew it was coming yesterday with the way the weather has been lately. I checked school closings last night and they weren't posted. Today there are 272 closings all over NE Wisconsin with the majority being schools and after-school activities. We had some snow overnight, not a lot, but today we're getting 2-5 inches depending on what side of the icy mix and snow line you happen to be on. The line of demarcation sits smack dab down the center of Green Bay. In other words, I could get almost no snow, while the other side of the street could see a lot of it. Or vice versa. It will change to all snow by noon, but not without leaving us with a couple tenths of an inch of ice. Then the mix gets really bad for early afternoon, which is why all the schools are closed. In other words, I'm not going anywhere today. The word the weatherman used to describe road conditions for the afternoon commute - dangerous, hazardous. With all the severe weather we've been having, a chance look at the news this morning showed that school athletic teams will need to have make-up games. It's getting time for tournaments with still many games not played due to canceled events. On the bright side, I talked to my friend down the hall after looking at movie selections for tomorrow. With the expected 4.5 inches indicated on pinpoint predictor, I suggested a movie for the time they will be snow plowing tomorrow. We're going to see A Dog's Way Home. If you've seen it, don't tell me anything about it. The trailer looked fantastic. So, that will be what we're doing tomorrow. As for today, I'm going to try to get the notifications caught up. With not being here yesterday until late, I'm two days behind. I also want to work on a book. The whiteboard shows the books I am working on so far this year. I just started working on the last one on the list a few days ago. I'm still deciding which of the finished novels I want to work towards publication next. How is your day? Thanks for reading.
