Planted Mulberry Plant

My neighbor gave me a mulberry plant saying she does not have too much space in her yard for it. Since i love to have my own mulberry plant to pick berries, I planted it inside our yard, although it is already crowded with so many other plants that I had planted in that limited space. I hope it will not be a big tree because if it grows so big, I have to prune it always so it won't occupy too much space. I hope it will bear fruits soon.

We have mulberry trees and yes, they grow big. We can't even reach most of the fruits so the birds are happy when they bear fruits.

So it grows so big? Therefore, I have to always prune it to limit the growth.

If you do not prune it every year, it grows big.

I hope it grows well. And yes plants that grow big also need more space else we run into problems.

I like to have this kind of plant. It was my high school days when I saw and tasted mulberry fruit.

It was because a neighbor gave me a plantlet and I wanted to have my own berry plant instead of buying it.
