A Slippery Slope

It seems this winter is the- freezing rain winter- as about twice now we have had some serious ice rain. And today they are calling for another event of freezing rain tomorrow. So all my good decisions about trying to walk a little more is not that easy when the streets and sidewalks are always covered with that slippery stuff!
I almost fell on Saturday when the foot that was helping to hoist me into the car went slip-sliding away and I had to hold on to the carseat for dear life.
Let's hope the Ice Man does not Cometh again tomorrow or I many be house bound for a few more days. Too bad I didn't buy the paint or I could help my husband paint the bathroom while we are trapped indoors--lol!

@LadyDuck Well as the Climate changes slightly it brings many strange things. I don't really believe that it is all just us who are to blame-- the global weather is also changing on its own and headed toward something I think.

That is beautiful Winter weather- no we're far from 16 Celsius but Sunday will be 10 Cel. and that is definitely odd for us.

Our weather has bounced all around. We are possibly expecting some light snow and just last week it felt like summer.

It is winter now in Jerusalem and it was raining a little bit ago. In Jerusalem in the winter we have rain.

Ice can be much more treacherous than snow because there is no traction. Good idea to put off that walk. 
We had snow (New Jersey) about 3 inches worth on Weds. By next day the temps rose to 50F and it was all melted off the roads. Weird weather?

True very changeable and quickly too. If you wait a bit the bad weather usually disappears and then come back later--

Oh gosh - I'm glad you caught that fall! We've had a real winter (Southern CA kind) this year with lots of rain (finally). This week we are getting a sunny but chilly break - supposedly it rains again towards the end of the week. We were able to get to the snow this weekend - we had one day of fun, but I don't know how people can live in it. Stay warm and be careful with the slippery stuff!

Its calling for more rain that will turn to snow like you im staying cooped up and waiting for the winter weather to be gone so i can enjoy walking outdoors again.. i miss not being able to go every day :(
I hope ole man winter packs his bags and leaves soon
