I just love when I come across something unexpected. Like finding the clothes dryer empty when I'm ready to put another load in.
Or when I want to put dishes in the dishwasher and discover it's empty and waiting! (I hate having to fold a load of clothes or put away a washer full of clean dishes before I can add anything else!)
How about when you find one last, lonely Pepsi in the back of the fridge that you'd forgotten was there?
I know, I'm spoiled, but I really am grateful to have a dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. And Pepsi's in the fridge.
But it's just those little things that make me say, "Thank you, Lord!"
Do you have times like that?

@1creekgirl Its okay, in fact, like you pointed out, having to empty a dishwasher is a great thing. I remember the first couple of years that we were married and did not have a dishwasher.

the washing machine is a big help, but i know there are still people who handwash.
what i notice in our neighborhood, though, is there are more and more pay laundry shops. i wonder if it's because houses are smaller with limited space to wash and hang your laundry.
was it easter when that picture was taken? how old were you? i'm smiling at the clothes flapping behind you.

I don't exactly see my work getting done for me , but I do get a lot of surprises in life (good ones) I always find the things I long for gifted to me or just find it lying around in a sale at prices that I can afford. The other day I was thinking that I haven't had a chocolate mousse in years and in the evening my friend comes bringing me a chocolate mousse and sugar free too., I am off sugar.
